Another team completed! Well, at least until Angela is released.
This was a really cool batch to paint, with a fairly diverse line up of characters. That’s what I love about painting Crisis protocol, every model is unique and a new challenge.
I need your support. Because my guides takes time and supplies to do, any support you can offer would mean the world to me. A supportive message in the comments is enough, but if you have the means why not send me a gift on Ko-Fi or PayPal. Thank you!

I began by undercoating both models with black.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think or if you have any questions.

Both figures were undercoated black before I began.

I began with a black undercoat.
As usual I would love to hear what you think, leave me a comment and let me know what you liked and what could be improved.

I did also add a touch of White Scar to the tips of the ice following this stage.

Prep: Black undercoat
Next up are the sinister Hela and the god of mischief himself, Loki…
The first new faction outside of the core box, the Wakandans burst into my MCP collection. Offering another great selection of sculpts, with one particularly annoying to put together.
First up is thier leader, the king of Wakanda himself…
A fairly simple sculpt that does a great job of personifying the Black Panther. It’s the dynamic pose that really makes this one stand out. That balled up energy, ready to pounce look is perfect.
Then we have his chief adversary…
Killmonger is a pretty bland mini to be honest. I love the touch of the panther statue but nothing else really makes him stand out.
Shuri looks great but is by far the most annoying yet to put together, nothing major if you have experience but some fiddly bits, looking at you gloves, are frustrating to say the least.
Another strong mini, but much like Killmonger it’s another that doesn’t stand out.
Saying that though I would like to revisit all of the additional characters to add some free hand. Some traditional African patterning could really add a bit of wow.
Onto even more Marvel Crisis Protocol miniatures, and this batch includes some of my favourites!
First up is a truly Incredible miniature…
A truly huge and wonderful Hulk! This guy is awesome and plastic!
I really took my time on this one, as Hulk is one of my favourites, but also it’s a centre peice model. If you include him in your force, he will draw the eye everytime.
And then there is the sinister Venom..
Seriously! Atomic Mass Games is knocking it out the park with these sculpts!
Like many, Venom is a favourite villain of mine and this mini does him justice, and luckily his rules do too.
And finally…
A big floating head! Honestly, I dont know all that much about M.O.D.O.K, and he feels a bit over the top. Although I did still love painting him and he has become a firm favourite when playing the game.
All in all a great batch of miniatures, and it has to be said some of the best plastic kits in the market outside GW for quality and dynamic poses.
