No, its not a childrens book I’m writing :), after having my eye on Warmachine for a while but not being able to settle on a faction, I noticed this chap and just fell in love with the model:

Having not played the game properly (have had a demo which I thoroughly enjoyed), I stuck with the rule of cool for my faction choice, which will mean a Cygnar list built around this chap once I get into it a bit more. My plan at the moment is to get the Cygnar starter box and learn to play with that and then expand the force from there, once I have a better idea of what everything does 😀

Everything went pretty well with my last clearout, its now time for the second lot. I’m getting rid of most of my 40k stuff, primarily because I’ve not been enjoying the game of late. Don’t get me wrong, I love the universe and the miniatures but it’s becoming too expensive to get a good size force and I feel the rules themselves are a little too bloated and geared towards the latest release for my liking. Secondly it means money to push into the games I am enjoying and get started in games I’m interested in, the main one of which will be Warmahordes :D.

I’m very pleased with the results so far, especially in regards to the Albino look as I felt this was a bit of a gamble and could look terribly wrong. Still got a fair bit of work to go on this chap, but he’s been such a pleasure to work on I can’t wait 😀

As you can see there’s a good selection there from all 3 seasons. Any that would fit with one of the teams I have, I’ll be painting up in a similar style but with a wee bit extra flair. The others will be a good opportunity to try out some funky schemes :D.
