So much Death Korp your head will explode!*

*This is a blatant lie 😀

Now well on my way with the next batch of Death Korp. Squad number 4 is finished and includes some meltas that will likely be switched with some other squads to spread ’em out.

Next up on the painting schedule are two heavy weapon squads. This first one is the Mortar team, made using the Death Korp of the Kreig Artillary Crew and the Death Korp of the Kreig Thudd Gun Crew, and the remains of the Cadian heavy weapons box. I’m very happy with how they’ve turned out, and am especially pleased with the map bearing spotter :).

And a wee update on the Lascannon/Autocannon team:

Full Pathfinder Squad

Here’s the first finished Pathfinder squad:

Pathfinder Team 1

Pathfinder Team 1

I’m aiming for a 500pt force to start, and this will include the other 5 pathfinders as well as a box of Fire Warriors. To lead I’m thinking an Ethereal or a Cadre Fireblade, but it all depends on which I think will be the nicest to paint (Cadre Fireblade methinks :D).

Pathfinder Progress Part 3: Almost Done!

Thats most of the first pathfinder squad finished off, just need to add a little snow to the base which is tomorrows job methinks.

I’ve really enjoyed painting this squad, especially since its my first miniatures in years that don’t feature any metallics.  This is something I waned to do from the start, as I’ve always seen Tau as using something else, something more advanced than mere metal, like the Eldars wraithbone. Also need to think of a good excuse as to why they are running around in a snowy urban environment in bright red armor, as Tau seem to be one of the few armies that understands how camouflage works!
