  1. Hi, I have started work on Mystique using your superb guide and completed the base layer.
I am just a little lost / nervy about the layering stage with the ulthuan grey and white scar as I have practiced on a couple of old models and just finding it a little tricky to get the balance right especially with white scar.

Wondered if you had any advice on technique, water / paint mix ratio etc?

    Thanks

    • Hi Nathan, apologies for taking so long to get back to you.

I would recommend mixing with just a touch of water or Lahmian medium. Then build the colour up over several thin layers, but waiting for the previous layer to dry before moving on.
I hope this helps and doesn’t find you too late.

      Andy
It’s also important to note that you only want a small amount on your brush, as if you add too much it’s easy to lose control due to it being diluted.
